Nutrition Tips for You

Think Micro

Focus on the micronutrient values of the food you are consuming. Micronutrients refers to vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals which do not have calories. Eat whole, natural food that contain essential micronutrients, which also fills you up.

Satisfy your cravings, not your desires

How often do we feel like eating a cookie and it turned out to be a full-blown meal? When you have a craving, it is OK to eat that and NOT feel all guilty about it. Eventually we could work towards building a habit of eating all food in moderation.

Think Protein

Protein keeps you fuller for longer durations. Having more proteins also has the bonus of increasing your muscle mass that in turn increases your basal metabolic which helps you burn more fats without lifting a finger!

When is the best time to have carbs?

It depends but for most people, the best time to have carbs is after you exercise. This is when your body is in recovery and is prime for absorbing those wonderful glucose which helps you build a tone and lean body.
