The 2 types of stress

Nowadays, talks about sleep & stress are prevalent. Therefore, we will be covering them this week. Stress can be broadly categorised into two types.
Eustress: Stress that positively affects you. 
Distress: Stress that negatively affects you. 
Let’s take a look at the diagram below:
There is an optimal level of stress where we perform well.
This tolerance level can and will increase over time if you allow it to.
However, it would be unrealistic to expect eustress in every single situation you experience, which is further illustrated by The Yerkes-Dodson Law: 
The key is knowing that this is a flow, and your tolerance to stress varies between situations, people, and things.
